Double Glazing & New Windows

Not all new windows we fit are double glazed. Some windows have to be replaced simply because they have been allowed to fall in to such a bad state of repair that replacement is the only option.
When considering replacement windows, whether to incorporate double glazing is however an important decision.
Double glazing does help to retain heat within your home. It will also help to reduce the level of noise that can be heard from outside.
It is not possible to install double glazing in to existing sash windows, new frames have to be made and the double glazing fitted in to these.
New sashes are made to replicate the originals – down to the smallest detail such as the mouldings and the profiles.

Made and fitted correctly, there should be no visible difference between the new and the old.
